A plan written for you, not picked off a shelf

You tell me about your injuries, your gym and how many days you really have. I write the training and the food around those answers, and it is in your hands inside three days.

Your answers

Two years, and seven months of it on the ground

This is not a before and after photo. It was a repair, a rehabilitation, and then the boring part done properly for long enough to work.

  1. 155kg

The heaviest I had ever been

One hundred and fifty five kilograms, and a knee that was about to decide the next two years for me.

  2. Surgery

A bucket handle tear, and a horizontal tear

My meniscus tore twice over. They reattached it rather than trimming it out, which is the repair that actually heals, and the price of it is time on the ground.

  3. 7 months

    I did not walk

Seven months before I carried my own weight again, and rehab after that. This is the part most coaches have never been through.

  4. Year one

Back under a bar inside twelve months

Not a comeback montage. Loading a repaired knee on purpose, slowly, in the order my physiotherapist signed off on.

  5. Year two

92kg at 11 percent, in under six months

Then I kept going. I am 89 kilograms and under 8 percent now, and I have been training properly for six years.

I am 34, I have been training properly for 6 years, and I hold under 8 percent body fat at 89 kilograms. That is 66 kilograms down from where I started.

Built around the body you have

Four things I do. If they are not what you are after, this is probably not for you, and it is cheaper for both of us to know that now.

I build around the joint you have

Your plan starts from what your body tolerates today, including the knee, the back or the shoulder you were told to be careful with. Nothing in it is a movement you cannot do yet.

Food you will still be eating in a year

No elimination and no shopping list you abandon in week three. I set your calories and protein around your actual life, then move them based on what the scale and the photos do.

Written for you, not picked off a shelf

Your gym, your days, your history. I have written plans for someone training in a garage three days a week and someone in a commercial gym six, and they look nothing alike.

I have been where you are starting

I was 155 kilograms with a knee that would not hold me. I am not guessing at what the first month feels like.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Pick one

The plan on its own, or the plan with me in your corner every week. You can start with the plan and add coaching later.

  2. 02

    Tell me about you

A short form: your injuries, what you can train on, how many days you have, and what you actually want out of this.

  3. 03

    I write it

Training and food, built around those answers, in your hands inside three days.

  4. 04

    Every week after

If you are coached, you send your numbers and we get on a call. Not a form I skim. Your diary holds every call, every check-in and every rewrite, and syncs to the calendar on your phone.

What it costs

Not sure which one, or not sure at all? Ask me first. I read every message myself and I will tell you if this is not the right thing for you yet.

Before you ask me

Do I need a gym?

A gym makes it easier and it is not required to start. Tell me what you have access to and I write the first plan around that, whether it is a full gym, a garage or a hotel room for half the month.

I have an injury. Is this safe for me?

It depends on the injury, and I would rather answer that properly than from a website. I train around a repaired meniscus myself and I work with what your physiotherapist or surgeon has cleared. If coaching is not the right thing for you yet, I will tell you and you will not be charged.

How fast will I lose weight?

Faster at the start, then steadily. I went from 155 to 89 kilograms, and it took me two years with seven months of it unable to walk. Anyone promising you a number by a date is guessing.

What is the difference between the two?

The Plan is the program and the guide, written for you once. Coached is the same thing, plus me on a video call every week. Not a form I reply to when I get a minute: a real conversation about what your numbers did and what we change. Most people who have tried doing it alone before should take the second one.

What if I miss a week?

Tell me and the plan bends. Missing a week is normal. Disappearing for a month without saying anything is what actually ends programs, and it is much harder to disappear when somebody is waiting on a call.

Can I cancel?

Coaching is billed weekly, so you can stop any week and you keep the week you have paid for. The Plan is a one off purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

Is this online only?

Yes. Plans, check-ins and the weekly call all run remotely, so your timezone is the only thing we have to work around.

Ask me first

If you are not sure which one to take, or not sure about any of it, tell me where you are and what you are working around. I read these myself and I will tell you honestly whether this is the right thing for you yet.
